Matt Day is a one-man shop in Newton. He makes wooden items, one at a time, hoping to create something that is useful, durable, and beautiful for your home.
Work with mostly hand-powered, traditional tools, like a carving axe, adze, drawknife, or gouges, he creates beautiful and unique woodenware from reclaimed logs locally, fallen in storms or taken down for safety reasons.
Food safe. Can even be used for cooking - great on a nonstick skillet!
Sizes and styles vary as these are unique pieces. Lengths between 8-13”; widths between 1.5-3”
